What a difference a day makes. On the previous day, we’ve been visiting New Brighton Beach, the longest and closest coastal strip from Christchurch CBD. And, oh boy, not gonna lie, I’ve never been on such a sordid esplanade with so many closed shops and bad vibes, I didn’t even bother to take pictures delivering you a visual proof.
Luckily, it turned out to be the case, that Christchurch has more than one beach to offer in its sandy portfolio.
And what a splendid one! Sumner Beach is a lovely spot with scenic views, a coastal rock cave and a great esplanade with all the cafés and restaurants you need.
Needless to say I took some pictures this time. Here we go. 🙂
