Hey there, fellow readers! As many of you know, I’ve been working with MyHub Intranet Solutions for quite some time now, and I recently had the incredible opportunity to relocate to New Zealand.
Since Christmas Eve 2023, I’ve been soaking in the stunning landscapes, friendly locals, and the unique charm that Christchurch has to offer. But before I dive into life as a Kiwi in progress, let me tell you a bit about my work with MyHub.
MyHub Intranet Solutions is a leading company based in Auckland, specializing in top-notch intranet software. My role involves contributing to the marketing of their cutting-edge software, all while working remotely from the comfort of my home in Christchurch. One of the incredible aspects of MyHub is its commitment to fostering a flexible and dynamic work environment. The company understands the power of remote work, and thanks to their support, I’ve been able to make the move to the Southern Island without missing a beat in my professional responsibilities.
Living in Christchurch has been a result of an intense journey of pros and cons across New Zealand. The city’s unique blend of urban and natural beauty creates an atmosphere that’s both invigorating and peaceful. From exploring the Botanical Gardens to strolling through a CBD that’s re-shaping itself, there’s always something new to discover in this vibrant city.
The decision to move to Christchurch was not only about the change in scenery but also about maxing out the freedom that comes with remote work. MyHub has truly embraced the digital era, allowing its employees to work from anywhere in the world, as I have done since 2016. This forward-thinking approach not only enhances our work-life balance but also fosters a sense of trust and collaboration within the team.
In addition to my immersive work with MyHub and the enchanting experiences in Christchurch, my creative endeavors take a literary turn here in New Zealand. As some of you may know, I’m not only a remote worker but also a passionate storyteller. Back in Germany, I proudly introduced you to the fantastical realm of Mythanien through my classical piano album. Now, surrounded by the awe-inspiring landscapes of New Zealand, I find myself delving into the written word. The serene beauty of Christchurch and the unique Kiwi culture have sparked a new narrative within me. I’m thrilled to announce that I’m currently crafting a fantasy novel set in the mystical world of Mythanien.
